Supposed to be an 'a' - pretty simple design. It was either that or a snail. Creativity, I think yes.

Free Comic Book Day

Is on May the 7th, all in the name of promoting the reading of comic books! This year it looks like they have some choice selections, ranging from 'Avatar: TLA' and 'Kung Fu Panda', to 'Star Wars' and 'The Dark Crystal'.

All you have to do is walk into your local comic book store, ask at the counter, and you'll be sure to get a free comic to read on the bus ride home from TAFE. :)

Poses of Max based on 'The Thinker' by Augustine Rodin. Not to sure what was going on with the reflection on the sphere, it appears that only the hands are being picked up. . . Any thoughts?

Future Ambitions

Each new year presents itself the opportunity to outdo the last.

To prove to your past self your future self can still make it.

This year I think I want to open up a bit more, not be so afraid of peoples negative opinions. Share my drawings and ideas a bit more, ones that aren't camouflaged.

To not censor myself so much.

By the end of the year I want to have an impressive portfolio, for both character and background design. To send my work to publishers, and maybe even have a proposal or two for a graphic novel.

But most of all I just want to have a finished story under my belt.
